Yeah it is just naming convention, one just name it ViewState, other ViewModel, yet another DataModel, but the purpose is the same. than you can have Repository depending you have some core data or just service if only networking. It also depends on how big the app is, and how big the team is. Whether unit tests are crucial, etc.
